jornada - Model Variations

In Spanish drama, an act of a play, later referred to as an ‘acto’. The term was originally used because no single act was to contain events exceeding the limits of one day (or jornada), though any length of time might elapse between acts. Originally in five jornadas, the Golden Age play was probably first reduced to three acts by Antonio Diez in his Auto de Clarindo (c.1535), which has otherwise little interest.

The Jornada was a broad product line that included Palm-Size PCs, Handheld PCs, and Pocket PCs. The Jornada line was then replaced with the more popular iPAQ model PDAs. All Jornada models ran Microsoft Operating Systems that were based on Windows CE.
