Lucinda Green - Major Accomplishments

Three-day eventer, born in London, UK. She is the only person to win the Badminton Horse Trials six times (1973, 1976–7, 1979, 1983–4), and the Badminton and Burghley Horse Trials in the same year, on George in 1977. She was individual European champion in 1975 and 1977, and the 1982 world champion on Regal Realm, when she also won a team gold medal. She married Australian eventer David Green in 1981 (marriage dissolved, 1992).

Lucinda Green (born November 7, 1953 in Hampshire) is a talented horse rider from Great Britain, who was born as Lucinda Prior-Palmer.

In 1982, she went on to represent the British Team at the World Championships in Luhmuhlen, where the team won gold.

Green became a mother in 1985, and she retired for a few months before returning to international competition later that year and helping the British Team win the gold at the European Championships held at Burghley. Green is also a member of the Board of Directors of the British Horse Trials Association and a team selector
