Maurice Garin - Major Wins

French cyclist, the first winner of the Tour de France in 1903. He also won the Paris-Roubaix in 1897 and 1898, and the Bordeaux-Paris in 1902.

Maurice Garin (March 3, 1871 - February 19, 1957) was a road bicycle racer. He is best known for winning the 1903 Tour de France - the very first running of the prestigious event.

Although initially declared the winner of the 1904 Tour de France, Garin was later disqualified for taking a train through part of the route.
