Nicholas Mosley - Select novels

Writer, born in London, UK. He studied at Oxford, joined the army (1942–6), and published his first novel, Spaces of the Dark in 1951. Later novels include The Rainbearers (1955), Accident (1964, filmed by Joseph Losey in 1967), Hopeful Monsters (1990, Whitbread Prize), Children of Darkness and Light (1996), and Look at the Dark (2005). Among other works are a 2-volume biography of his parents, Sir Oswald and Lady Cynthia Mosley (1982–3), a volume of autobiography, Efforts at Truth (1995), and Time at War (2006), a memoir.

Nicholas Mosley, 3rd Baron Ravensdale (born June 25, 1923) is a British novelist.

Mosley has also written two volumes of family biography, Rules of the Game: Sir Oswald and Lady Cynthia Mosley 1896-1933 (1982) and Beyond the Pale: Sir Oswald Mosley and Family 1933-1980 (1983) , and wrote the screenplay for Joseph Losey's 1973 film, The Assassination of Trotsky.
