ocelot

A rare member of the cat family (Felis pardalis), found from S USA to N Argentina; pale with dark spots and lines; inhabits diverse habitats; eats small mammals, birds, snakes, and fish; sometimes reared as pets; also known as painted leopard or tigrillo.
