Painter, born in New York City, USA. Based in Weston, Connecticut, he was a provocative artist who combined wit and social protest. His most famous (and notorious) paintings are The Fleet's In (1934), and Fantasia on a Theme by Dr S (1946).
Paul Cadmus (December 17, 1904 - December 12, 1999) was an artist born in New York City.
In 1934 he painted The Fleet's In! while working for the Public Works of Art Project of the WPA.
