Baseball pitcher, born in St Louis, Missouri, USA. One of the game's great pioneers, the stocky right-hander won 361 games during his 14-year career (1879–92), mostly with Buffalo and Pittsburgh. He was elected to baseball's Hall of Fame in 1965.
