Robert Young

Film and television actor, born in Chicago, Illinois, USA. A graduate of the Pasadena Playhouse, he appeared as a leading man in Hollywood films of the 1930s and 1940s, including And Baby Makes Three (1949). He starred in two television series, Father Knows Best (1954–62), winning two Emmys, and Marcus Welby, MD (1969–76). Thereafter he appeared in occasional television films.
