Sans Souci

A Rococo palace built (1745–7) at Potsdam, EC Germany, for Frederick II of Prussia, who collaborated with his architect, Georg Wenzeslaus von Knobelsdorff (1699–1753), on its design. It has been preserved in its original state, and houses several picture galleries.
