Wesley L(ivsey) Jones

US senator, born near Bethany, Illinois, USA. Elected to the US House of Representatives (Republican, Washington, 1899–1909) and to the US Senate (1909–32), he supported prohibition, the merchant marine, and law enforcement.

Wesley Livsey Jones (October 9, 1863 - November 19, 1932) was an American politician. Jones was born outside of Bethany, Illinois, and attended Southern Illinois College.

Jones served as a Republican United States Senator from Washington from 1909 to 1932, when he lost re-election.

Jones served in the House of Representatives from 1899 to 1909.
