Charles Vildrac - Works

Poet and writer, born in Paris, France. With his brother-in-law, Georges Duhamel, he founded the Abbaye, an artistic community in Créteil, Paris (1906–7), and co-wrote with him Notes sur la technique poétique (1910), an important guide to the Unanimist poets. Vildrac's work reflects his humanitarianism, and his plays include the well-known Le Paquebot Tenacity (1920), La Brouille (1930), and Les Pères ennemis (1946). He was a member of the French resistance.

He was a member of the l'Abbaye de Créteil which he founded with Georges Duhamel.
