Television presenter and journalist, the daughter of a Belgian ambassador. After studying politics in Paris and Cambridge, she spent 10 years in the USA working for the NBC and CBS national television networks. She became a highly respected interviewer on her return to French television, where she presented the news on all three main stations. In 1994 she became editor of L'Express news magazine.
