Elijah (Jordan) Wood - Filmography, Awards and nominations

Actor, born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, USA. He moved with his family to Los Angeles in 1988 where he gained a number of small film parts, including Back to the Future II (1989), before playing a starring role in Paradise (1991). After several further films, he became well known following his role as Frodo Baggins in The Lord of the Rings trilogy (2001–3). Later films include Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind (2004) and Green Street (2005).

Elijah Jordan Wood (born January 28, 1981) is an American actor and music executive.

Wood also will star with John Hurt in a film adaptation of the novel, The Oxford Murders, in which he will be playing a graduate student, who, along with a professor of logic (Hurt), investigates a series of bizarre, mathematically-based murders in Oxford

Wood has finished recording voice work for Tim Burton's upcoming animated feature film version of the short film 9.
