Frank Woolley

Cricketer, born in Tonbridge, Kent, SE England, UK. His Test career spanned a quarter of a century (1909–34), and although best remembered as a batsman he was a skilled all-rounder. He played 64 Test matches for England, scoring 3283 runs and recording five centuries. Against Australia at The Oval in 1912 he took 10 wickets for 49 runs in the match, and no fielder in first-class cricket has equalled his tally of 1018 catches.

Frank Edward Woolley (born 27 May 1887 in Tonbridge, Kent, died 18 October 1978 in Chester, Nova Scotia, Canada) was an English cricketer, one of the finest all-rounders the game has seen.
